METALLIC INKS

Use of metallic ink

Product introduction

Range of ink obtained by mixing a paste or powder with a varnish (aluminum, bronze, nacres …). We can distinguish the film products (brighter on the surface but more fragile) and difficult to superimpress and the non-film (more glitter and easier to overprint).

Metallized inks can be tinted with dyes or pigment concentrates. The brightness of the metallized inks in UV and plastisols is reduced due to the coating of the pigments in the varnish. The best results are obtained with water and solvent inks. The larger the particles, the more the effect will be spangled (in general). Available in all ink ranges. Silkscreen, flexo, gravure and varnishing group.
